Illinois VS Michigan State

The question on everyone's mind before the February 6 match up between the Illini and the Spartans was would State's super star Kalin Lucas would play after injuring his ankle in their previous match up with the Wisconsin Badgers who gave State their first conference lost of the year. In the two teams previous match up Lucas was monumental in State's 73-63 win over the Illini scoring 20 points and dishing out four assist. The Illni are have changed significantlysince that January 16 loss. The Illini are led by their star point guard Demitri McCamy and boost the best field percentage defense in their conference.

When the game began everyone at assembly hall noticed that the Spartans were without their small guy who was big to their success.
